Harvey was nominated by The FAC Committee at Lima Primary who noted the following, "Ms. Harvey is the definition of positivity and sparkle! She makes every one of her little artists feel like a Picasso! The classroom environment is warm and welcoming. She has high expectations for her students and because she believes in them they rise to the occasion. Ms. Harvey exudes excitement and makes art fun! Congratulations to Casey Mallaber on being a recipient of the BOE's Cougar Pride Award! Mallaber was nominated by Susan Lindsay who noted the following, "I am nominating Casey Mallaber for the Cougar Pride Award because she goes above and beyond her role to support the Middle School PTA. Casey sends blasts out for our sign-ups when she sees they are low. She creates flyers and posts without us asking. She helps organize donations when they are dropped to the office. She is always happy to help lend a hand with whatever we've got going on! I don't know where we would be without her!" #WeAreHFL

Congratulations to Cathy Hoose on being a recipient of the BOE's Cougar Pride Award! Hoose was nominated by John Recktenwald and Kelly Paganelli who noted the following, "Cathy Hoose is the staff member in charge of the HF-L Alumni Hall of Fame Committee. She is absolutely amazing at making sure this program is professionally administered and beautifully curated. She handles so many elements seamlessly. She helps keep us on track with our meetings, makes sure notices for nominations are out and publicized in the community, and facilitates the entire induction weekend. Whether she's making gorgeous invitations, bold car signage for the parade, or meticulous spreadsheets to make sure no detail is overlooked, Cathy is a wonder. All of us on the committee marvel at her ability to do so many things so perfectly. She truly is inspiring and we are grateful that she is part of our committee. We're all proud to be a part of this committee and praise Cathy for doing so much work with excellence." #WeAreHFL

🥫 Manor School’s Annual CAN-gineering Celebration! 🖤💛

Our Cougars came together in a big way for this year’s CAN-gineering event, building incredible can-sculptures and supporting our community. In total, students collected 1,835 cans that will be donated to three local food pantries as well as area families in need.

Students from Lima, Manor, Middle, and High School gathered today for a district-wide Friendsgiving celebration — and it was full of heartwarming moments. 💛🖤

Many little Cougars met big Cougars for the very first time, sharing hugs, smiles, and games before sitting down to enjoy a meal they helped prepare themselves.
