On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, the Board of Education approved the appointment of the District’s new Director of Technology, Dr. John Miller to begin on December 13, 2021.
Miller is currently the Director of Technology, Data & Program Evaluation in the Hilton Central School District. Miller has served in numerous roles throughout his educational career. He served Hilton CSD as the District Assessment Coordinator where he provided numerous workshops related to the principles of data-driven decision making. Prior to that, Miller was the 7-12 Mathematics Curriculum Supervisor in the West Irondequoit Central School District, where he also began his full-time teaching career. Several years ago, Miller student-taught at HF-L Middle School with Mrs. Katie Joint.
Miller has his Doctorate in K-12 Educational Leadership from the University of Rochester, a master’s degree in Education with a concentration in computer education from Nazareth College, a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a concentration in secondary education from Nazareth College, and has a certificate of advanced study in educational administration from SUNY Brockport.
