On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, the Honeoye Falls–Lima Central School District was recognized for earning the cashVest 90+ Award for the second year in a row. This award highlights the district’s strong financial practices and its commitment to using taxpayer dollars responsibly.
The cashVest 90+ Award is given each year by three+one® to public organizations that demonstrate exceptional care in managing their cash and financial resources. HF-L has used the cashVest platform since 2023 to monitor cash flow, improve forecasting, and support informed financial decision-making.
By maintaining a cashVest score of 90 or higher for four consecutive quarters, HF-L has demonstrated consistent, responsible financial management. This recognition serves as a seal of trust, reflecting the district’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the careful oversight of public funds.
“This recognition reflects a deliberate, multi-year effort by our Audit Committee, Board of Education, and financial team to strengthen how we manage the district’s money,” said Colin Pierce, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations. “With a focused approach to cash flow, oversight, and long-term planning, HF-L has earned more interest over the past three years than in the district’s entire prior history—ensuring taxpayer dollars are protected and maximized in support of our students.”
